In general I want to use the Google Tag Manager independently so that it get loaded all the time and without a relation to Usercentrics. Is this possible with the plugin?

@lphoffmann we are currently working on a new feature to exclude elements.

@asafm7 we are working on it. The issue seems to be related to the latest WordPress Core release (6.2). Currently the only quick fix is to downgrade WordPress to 6.1. We let you know when the fix is released.

Can you try to install WordPress again? From the distance it seems that the issue is not related to the plugin.

@meir321 the issue you have posted seems to the WordPress core. What WordPress Version do you currently use?

Did you tried to delete the plugin, download the latest version, install it and activate it?

@jerrytchan an update was released today. Can Test if it will work for you? Pleas also clear your browser cache to be before testing.

@dziudek I think writing the author (@hijiri) directly would be the best option. A few days ago I started to implement WordPress Coding Standards which also includes some adjustments in relation to provide a better security – today I created a draft pull request for this.

@lostingraphics you are absolute correct. The initial goal was to bring the plugin back as soon as possible and provide a native driven compatibility while introducing capabilities. However, a fix is on the way and should be released soon.
