Oops, sorry. As it turns out, I didn’t understand the tag cloud had a limited number of tags to display. My bad–this plugin is working great.

I like this plugin, but it doesn’t show my default artist or title, though it does show the album art. How do you set those for individual audio files anyway?

I noticed that since I’m feeding a podcast from that category (category-casting), for it to work, I must use an absolute URL for the audio file. Other wise the feed gets confused between other links in the post (downloads in my case) and the audio.

I had the same issue with 2.7. I put the code snippet in and no player appeared. The beta version that Sumit1988 mentioned seems to work great for me. https://wpaudioplayer.com/

This plugin works with 2.7, but I didn’t end up going with it because, well, for one it inserts some grammatically questionable content into the feed. I might have kept it anyway had the player began to play audio before loading is completely done.

Thought I’d report back:

I found that if I created a parent page, then assigned the pages I want to be private (in other words, not appear on the navbar at the top of my blog) as children (or kids or subpages or whatever), then make the parent page private, it works. The word “Private” does not appear on the pages, but their titles also don;t appear in the navbar. I hope this solution lasts. The only drawback is that the permalinks (under the options I’ve chosen) include the parent page, so they aren’t as simple.

It would be a great feature to be able to put an asterisk or something instead of a number in the “page order” field with the effect of having the page be published but not appear in the navbar.

I would like to know the same thing.

Thanks again for your help. I did contact bluehost and their great customer service dept. had me done with it in about 10 minutes. It was a matter of editing the numbers in two places in the huge php.ini file, which for some reason I couldn’t see with cyberduck, but could through the Bluehost File manager.

I couldn’t say exactly where the changes were. There we so many lines of code I put the word the tech told me in the search feature and changed the two instances he showed me. I’m happy!

Thanks mono. I can’t even find a php.ini file in my folder tree. Anyone able to give more specific instructions?
