Hello there @wudman – sorry the update did not go smoothly for you. This issue seems to be impacting WPEngine only, and is being tracked here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/23352

We have determined the code that is causing the issue, but are unclear why the bug is only impacting WPEngine sites.

So just wanting to summarize what the situation you are experiencing is.

– In your product’s short description, you have a button short code ( could you provide more details on this button? what does it do? ).
– When products like this are subsequently output by a Product Block, the shortcode of button is shown, not the rendered version of the short code.

Hello! We are hoping to include the blocks in the 3.6 release of WooCommerce which is slated to be released in late March.

In the block explorer then guessing you don’t see the WooCommerce section all like seen in this screenshot: https://cloudup.com/cYyn75Nkfma ? Are there any errors shown in your browser JavaScript console?

Interesting, thanks for the screenshots. Curious – the attributes that are working for you, are they single words? Just trying to see if maybe the space in the name of the screenshot you sent of the editor might be part of what is happening.

Hello @art-woodde – correct right now the product editing page is still using the classic editor. I don’t have any idea around a date yet on when the experience will be powered by Gutenberg.

@awilmsmeier, hmm that is interesting – thanks for reporting the issue. Could you provide me with a little more detail to see if I can reproduce the bug?

– Which version of WooCommerce and WordPress
– What are the attributes you are using in the block?

Maybe a screnshot of the editor and the output on the front-end would be nice too.
