It’s a theme compatibility issue. “Include events in main blog loop” works with twentytwelve and twentythirteen, but does not work with Hueman. Unfortunate. I’m building several sites with the Hueman theme for a bunch of small historical associations and need an events plugin. This looked like a fantastic solution Oh well …

OK, I’m an idiot. I didn’t have the styling options turned on.

batharoy – yes, that’s what I’m doing.

Jose – A major function of the theme (the styling section) does not work. It would not be fair to review the theme without giving the author an opportunity to address this. As much as I Like the rest of the features, a broken theme gets a low rating from me.

Follow up: addressing styling issues through css in child theme. Really like the theme otherwise. The range of options available through the UI is fantastic.

Same problem here. “Include events in main blog loop” checked, but events not posting to blog.

Also, ability to add a picture to the events widget would be gresat.

So far, really like the plugin, except for the blog loop issue.
