In reply to: Adding a blogroll to a non wordpress page? Spare advise?Indeed there was no wordpress.COM issue here at all either. All wordpress blogs have feeds. The feeds on the blog are working. He went on the web and found https://www.rssinclude.com and set up the “website” which I assumed was a www.remarpro.com install so he could draw from the feeds.

In reply to: Adding a blogroll to a non wordpress page? Spare advise?Volunteers on the wordpress.COM forums provide support only to those who have free blogs, which are being free hosted by wordpress.COM.
All those with websites that have www.remarpro.com installs on them must come here for support.
WordPress.com blogs cannot be embedded in iframes and placed on www.remarpro.com installs. We do not provide lessons to those who need to set up RSS feeds on their www.remarpro.com installs on their websites.

In reply to: Add wordpress.com stats counter to sidebarOn one hand, you seem to be asking if the wordpress.com stats plugin can be placed in your sidebar.
On the other, you state that your blog does not have widgets in which to place the wordpress.com stats plugin, assuming that this can be done.
I cannot answer those questions. What I can tell you is what I have done on my own www.remarpro.com blog. I have not activated the wordpress.com plugin.
All the free 3rd party stats counters that wordpress.com bloggers use can be placed in a text widget and then placed in the sidebar of your www.remarpro.com install.
I chose to do this with Sitemeter (ie. I put it in a text widget in my sidebar), rather than embedding it into the html on my www.remarpro.com blog.

In reply to: WordPress x (any) Forums Plugins: Post auto comes in Forums? These are technical support forums. The intended use for them is for the posting of questions that pertain specifically to using wordpress technology and the provision of answers to them.
“… when you post on a wordpress blog, it will automatically come up in the forum?”
I cannot fathom how such a plugin, if it did exist, would ever be considered as being in line with the intended use of these forums.

In reply to: Links in popst open in new window by defaultHere is something for you to consider. Exactly why do you want to do this?
I don’t like when you or anyone else chooses to “Lord it over me” by dictating to me what my browser should do. I will use my settings to “kill” any attempts to control my browser. And, I will never ever return to a blog where the blogger does this.

In reply to: smiley emoticon from nowhere on front pageThe smiley emoticon I see on your front page is identical to the one that appears on free hosted wordpress.com blogs. https://faq.wordpress.com/2006/12/19/why-is-there-a-smiley-on-my-blog/
Is your blog actually a wordpress.com free hosted blog that’s being domain mapped? If, so then you are posting to the wrong forum and this is the correct one to post to https://en.forums.wordpress.com/

In reply to: Including a sidebar on every page category question.I’m a newbie so please go easy on me if I’m off-base. At wordpress.com we have adapted themes from www.remarpro.com. Some of these themes display sidebars on every page and some do not. Is that a factor here?
