Hi Kishana, my name is Tim with the Customer Community team at InMotion Hosting. BoldGrid is a plugin we developed. If you are still having problems let me know. You can also reach out to our Support Department 24/7 for help with BoldGrid as well. Our Support department will support it 100%. Thanks!
@icbutchart It’s with the Google API specifically. Google uses their on IP location database which has the server’s IP incorrectly listed. This does not affect how Google is reporting in Analytics however. We’ve filled out the paperwork with Google to correct the issue. I suspect it shouldn’t take more than a few days for Google to update their database. All this means is, until they adjust the location for the IP address, you won’t be able to make a call via the Google API to retrieve Google Analytics data from the dashboard. IF this is an issue that you cannot wait to resolve, I’m happy to have our tech support move your account to another server. Sorry for the inconvenience, we’re doing everything we can to have Google correct their error.
Hi cwfaraday, the issue regarding how Google is classifying our IP address shouldn’t affect rankings. They simply believe the IP address belongs to a geographic location they do not allow connections from and therefore, block the API call to Google Analytics. We are aware and are working with Google directly to have the IP address reclassified and corrected. Unfortunately, this isn’t an immediate solution. It would be much more detrimental to rotate the IP on the server than to file the necessary forms to have them correct the problem. Unfortunately, there isn’t an easy solution If you want to be moved to another server, we’ll gladly do so. Let me know how I can help you.
I work at InMotion as the Customer Community Manager. I have my Sys Admin looking into this further for you. You should get an email within the hour with more details.

In reply to: Silly Question about Sub Directory InstallationThis is something important to remember. You can do what you are asking and make the new page in WordPress “live” over time, as you complete them.
However, the URL will not be the same. If you are alright with that, then you would ignore the link I provided you earlier. However, for SEO value and so search engines know you replaced the old URL with the new one, you’ll need to set up 301 redirects. This will allow any backlinks on the internet to go directly to the new page instead of showing a 404 error.

In reply to: Installing with an already existing siteYou can’t install WordPress with the same URL as your old site and have both of them running at the same time. You will need to install WordPress in a subfolder such as /wordpress. Then, when you are ready you can make the switch following the directions here:

If you install it without using a subfolder like /wordpress it will overwrite your existing website.

In reply to: Silly Question about Sub Directory InstallationHey legendsofamerica,
A) Typically anything above your “web root” (which is your public_html folder) isn’t visable via the web. You you’d need to create the hidden folder in the public_html folder.
B) I’m not sure I’m following your question here. You should leave the old site and pages up until you are ready to launch the site. That way there’s no 404 errors which can affect any search rankings you may have.
C) Temporarily, yes. While you are working on the site, the URL’s will not match since you’re in a subfolder. However, when you are ready to launch the site, you can leave it in the subfolder, but have it work from the base url. Here’s a tutorial how:

I just threw this up on another site to take a look. IT’s not much different. I guess its due to the main template and I’ll have to edit it to set specific classes separately.

In reply to: Override CSS on one pageTruthfully, its someone else’s handywork before my time. I’m assuming its pulling the CSS from the main site so the WP template has the same look and feel as the main site.
