@jhonb See above for Product Catalog sync troubleshooting.

The pixel that is installed via the TikTok for WooCommerce plugin is not a browser based pixel so it will not show up in the pixel helper tool. That is expected behavior. In order to test the pixel, please go to this FAQ link (https://ads.tiktok.com/marketing_api/docs?id=1724255493685249) and follow the instructions. Once you are logged in to TikTok Ads Manager (there is also link to in your TikTok plugin dashboard), at the top of the screen:

    – Hover over the Assets Tab
    – Click on Events
    – Select Web Events
    – Select / Click on the link for your pixel
    – Select the Test Events tab (which is shown in the screen shot in the help article)

From here you will be able to test event tracking. Please let us know if you have further issues.`

There may be a lag for synced products showing up in your plugin dashboard in WooCommerce. The most real time view of your catalog status is available within your Catalog Manager, which you can access by following these steps:

    1. Open your browser and login to your TikTok for Business account (https://ads.tiktok.com/i18n/login)
    2. At the top of your TikTok Ads Manager account landing page, select Assets –>Catalog
    3. Select your catalog and it will bring you to your Catalog Manager.

Can you confirm that there are no products synced in your Catalog Manager?

Within the plugin experience, when you go to click and land on your management overview page, that typically triggers a refresh / auto sync. You can click on the refresh icon as well right next to the catalog status on the Overview page as well. Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues with your product catalog sync.

    Hi,

There are no disadvantages for server only tracking and there should not be any impact on your ads.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

You are correct – the pixel that is installed via the WooCommerce plugin is not a browser based event pixel so it will not show up if you are using the TikTok Pixel Helper.

The pixel should be tracking the same events though and you can test by following the FAQs that are provided here (https://ads.tiktok.com/marketing_api/docs?id=1724255493685249).

You have to go to your TikTok Ads Manager (for which there is a link to in your TikTok plugin dashboard).

Once you’re logged in, at the top of the screen:

    – Hover over the Assets Tab
    – Click on Events
    – Select Web Events
    – Select / Click on the link for your pixel (the new one that you installed through the plugin)
    – Select the Test Events tab (which is shown in the screen shot in the help article included above)

    Hello,

We have checked with WooCommerce and they confirmed that the Marketing tab has not been removed or changed with WooCommerce 6.6.0. We were able to test this and the extension shows up under Marketing>TikTok.

Can you please provide a screenshot of your management page that includes the sidebar menu as well as your system status report?(https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-review-your-woocommerce-system-status/)

Can you please try the following:

    – Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Features
    – Un-check the “Navigation” option, and save the changes.

You should now see “TikTok” under the “Marketing” tab.

Please let us know if you are still unable to find the plugin.

    Hi there,

Thank you for sending the logs. The team informed me that they suspect that you may be experiencing an issue with access token generation but they are unable to fully confirm because the logs that you sent do not contain any elements regarding access token generation for the particular session..

Can you please screen record the full process (i.e. clicking “finish setup” AND clicking “start later”) and then pull the logs for that session / day. In your previous video, the recording is cut before you click on the “start later” button.

The team is working toward a solution but would like to fully confirm / diagnose the issue.

    Thank you

For an additional level of detail, can you please retrieve and attach the logs (in a .txt file) for the tiktok-for-woocommerce plugin?
    – Select WooCommerce on your sidebar menu
    – Select Status in the Woocommerce menu
    – Select Logs tab within Status menu
    – Find and view the “tiktok-for-woocommerce” logs and attach the logs in a txt file.

    Understood.

In all cases we’ve received with this issue, options listed above were successful in remedying the issue.

    Can you:
    – resend the video of your experience as the link you provided above (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zJhUJTpyjP0L5oWG_56YzBCsMvK17HbG/view?usp=sharing) appears to have since expired. We’d like to re-review.
    – attach screenshot of your google chrome settings so that we can fully confirm that ad blockers have been disabled, third party cookies have been allowed, and any conflicting extensions have been disabled.
    – go through the experience once more and send logs
    – Select WooCommerce on your sidebar menu
    – Select Status in the Woocommerce menu
    – Select Logs tab within Status menu
    – Find and view the “tiktok-for-woocommerce” logs and attach the logs in a txt file

    Hi @tommaso99,

On your first issue, can you please retry and send through the corresponding logID? We were unable to trace / investigate the previous logid because it had been purged. Thanks

    Hi @tommaso99,

I wanted to follow-up on your second question regarding the pixel helper. The pixel associated with this integration is not a browser based pixel so it will not show up in the pixel helper tool.

    Hi @kelvindijk,

Following up on the issue above! Just to confirm, in your video that you provided, when you click on start later, you get redirected to which homepage? (I think the video may be cut off as we see the click, but not the resultant home page screen).

Are you able to access the TikTok plugin on your sidebar menu?
