Which plugin was it? Good for me to know as a reference. Now you have JS errors ?? But that means it works in general.

How did you include the animation, shortcodes? The JS file of the animation aren’t loaded. Can you try using the default theme and see what happens. Some themes mess with hooks.

Are you using the dev version of the plugin? If so, can you follow the FAQ to debug the problem. Is the stage div there, any JS errors in the console… If all of that is the case then post a link to your site, someone might be able to help you then.

Ohh, yeah, I wasn’t aware that you are using ajax calls to load content. Most likely that won’t work ?? At least not out of the box. I guess it should be possible but then you have to know all about how animations are loaded, initialized and how ES integrates them.

To figure out though what the other 50% are I would suggest testing two things. 1) Switch the two animations for really simple ones to see if that brings any change. 2) Switch the theme and try this on a basic setup.

This should then narrow down where the problem is.

Try to add the json to your library in EA, then it will automatically be added. See if that works locally on your browser. Then I have to check if edge suite extracts .json files by default from the OAM and copies it to the server.

for testing, try to remove jquery from EA or disable the isotope plugin. The json isn’t being loaded because it is not at /order/about/slides.json. I’ll try to find the issue where I described how to use files relative to the project directory.

We haven’t resolved all related EA5 issues yet, there are some minor things left, therefore I’m not pushing a new release yet. Im’ closing this issue though as no one can keep track here anymore. The basic integration of compositions into a page works. If you run into any issues please open a new thread.

So you depend on using jQuery within your Edge Animate code? Using two jquery versions on one page doesn’t always work, especially not when loaded dynamically somewhere within the page load. So, basically the easiest would be if you can remove your jquery dependency from your composition.

@justtimo Thanks for the details, I can reproduce this in chromium. I debugged this for half an hour but I yet don’t have a clue why this happens. It doesn’t seem to be related to the loading of the runtime or if it is cached or not. Both animation loadings seem to trigger but the first crashes in the init function because some data doesn’t seem to be loaded into the composition. I yet don’t have an idea why this doesn’t happen of a page reload, but when navigating back. Have to think about it for a bit, will get back to you…

Hmm, strange one. Two things you could try: Update to the latest dev version, altough I didn’t change anything when uploading files. CAn you check with another OAM, might just be that it doesn’t pass validation.

Hi, you might need to set a min-height when using 100% height. Probably best if you check the Edge Animate forum at Adobe for these kind of questions.

Another idea: @pacweb would it be possible for you to upload one of your sample animations for other people to check the settings? (I can also put it somewhere if you sent it to me)
