Never mind, found my problem! I had Avatars turned off under Settings > Discussion.
I thought it would replace the avatar system, not work through it.

Yes, I already know how to get the 512px thumbnail. I want a smaller thumbnail. I do mean the image is smaller, not just displayed smaller.

What you suggest I do is really bad practise, terrible waste of bandwidth.

OK, but how do I show a small avatar on the front-end? Like 50x50pixels.

If I have a list of 200 users, I don’t want to load really big images 200 times and have to scale it down with CSS.

Had to do a fresh install, but it works now.
How do I get access to these new fields? They aren’t returned by get_terms.

I should perhaps add that when this plugin is enabled, the single view for my CPTs works but the archive view does not.

The CPT-rewrite broke when I added this plugin.
I disabled *all* plugins and reset permalinks a dozen times — no luck! ??

My CPTs URLs are still incorrectly rewritten, even after removing the plugin and flushing permalinks! Any ideas?

I tried re-installing the plugin and commenting out the above-mentioned line, but the problem persists.

It suddenly started working; no idea what I did wrong, probably a typo somewhere else.
