Thanks Ena, we’ll look into that. The client has been shipping overseas for years, and this is the first time the Channel Islands have been segregated in this way. However, we’ll look at including separate zones for CI addresses in future.

Although the Channel Isles does have its own laws and parliament, it is still technically part of the UK, yet the shipping rate charged in this instance by the WooCommerce plug-in rated the CI as part of the EU.

Some couriers do rate “Northern Ireland, the Channel Isles and the Isle of Man” (as well as the outer Scottish islands) separately from the rest of “mainland” Britain, but the PO does not.

Our client would like to repatriate the Channel Islands and save his customers the additional shipping charge.

Thanks for the suggestion Denzel. I have a copy of the previous version of the Evolve theme, so will delete the “updated” theme and re-install the old one.

Any idea why? It looked far better previously, and less of the slider image was obscured. Is there any way to revert to the former layout?

The recent “update” has caused loads of problems, with needless font size changes, widgets no longer working, and so far I haven’t found any significant benefits. Why change something when it’s not broken?
