Same problem as well. I’ve tried re-uploading the 2.5 files, clearing the browser caches (testing in both I.E. and FireFox), disabling plugins, hard refreshes.

p.s. and my tickbox for using the visual editor on my profile is checked as well.

CHMOD all of the wp-content/uploads/2007/etc/etc folders to 777.

if you do a search on this problem thats what most of the users are doing.

I have to agree the instructions for its use are confusing. Maybe say something like, Put code in between backtacks to prevent code being rendered… or something.

I’ve gone through similar problems with 2 hosts. My current host, DreamHost, helped a ton to solve the problem and said to get rid of Brian’s Latest Comments and to make sure to have WP-Cache.

i got the same kind of comment except the url they left was not to a .ro domain but instead the trackback url to that own post on my website that they commented on.

i ended up deleted it.

I agree that it seems the op intent is to spam the e-mails he will get from his request because he is asking for all of the e-mails commented on the website, not just registered users.

If it was to registered users only, I’d side with Dgold – as it could be a newsletter of sorts (but the op should find a way to do the subscribe option first).
