Oh no, sorry to hear that. I just did a test in Incognito and it appears that my imagines ARE going to the parent post. Have you checked in Incognito?

What I am noticing is that within a blog post, however, if I use a picture from another post, those “Attachment” pictures won’t lead to the other post. I guess that isn’t such a big deal.

I am having the SAME issue! I know for a fact that years ago, I was having this problem and was able to set make the following change:

From WordPress, go to SEO>Search Appearance
Click on the ‘Media’ tab
Toggle the ‘Media & attachment URLs’ to ‘Yes’
?Click ‘Save Changes’

However, in this recent update with Yoast or WordPress, not sure which one, it’s already toggled to “Yes” and I’m still having the issue.

What was the fix for this????

I am having the same problem. Whenever I try to change the thumbnail dimensions, I get the same greying out of the “Save” button. Any other fix other than having to add some coding? Thanks!
