    I enabled WP_DEBUG, and no errors appear on the page.
    Also no errors are being written to my error_log files.

    In Customizer > Header Banner it says:

    Your theme works best with an image with a header size of 1000 × 250 pixels — you’ll be able to crop your image once you upload it for a perfect fit.

    I totally agree.
    This used to be the best WordPress Calendar plugin.
    As a web developer, I will be removing it from all of my clients’ web sites.

    Right now the choices for author info are:

    None
    First Name
    Last Name
    Username

    I’d like to display first AND last name.. I’m not sure why this isn’t a default option.
    Is there any easy way to do this?

    Thanks for your reply. I will test this on some of my sites.

    Apparently, this is caused by the plugin’s default include of “.log”

    This fixes my problem (class-excludes.php):

    	private $default_excludes = array(
    		'.svn',
    		'_svn',
    		'CVS',
    		'_darcs',
    		'.arch-params',
    		'.monotone',
    		'.bzr',
    		'.git',
    		'.hg',
    // 		'.log',
    		'backupwp',
    		'backwpup-*',
    		'updraft',
    		'wp-snapshots',
    		'backupbuddy_backups',
    		'pb_backupbuddy',
    		'backup-db',
    		'Envato-backups',
    		'managewp',
    		'backupwordpress-*-backups',
    	);

    … but obviously now log files will get backed up as well.

    I suppose you can mark this as resolved, but it would be nice if you considered testing and including the fix above in a future AI1EC update.

    Greetings Benjamin,

    The folks at WP-Types provided me with a solution… for any Views outputting on an event page, I can add a parameter to the template shortcode…
    modify the content template shortcode from:

    [wpv-post-body view_template="view-grid"]

    To:

    [wpv-post-body view_template="view-grid" suppress_filters="true"]

    I don’t think I should have to do this.
    … based on their feedback, it seems that AI1EC is filtering the_content too soon.

    My preliminary additional testing shows that modifying AI1EC all-in-one-event-calendar/lib/http/response/render/strategy/html.php (lines 53 and 57) fixes the issue:
    From this:
    ` if ( isset( $params[‘is_event’] ) ) {
    // Filter event post content, in single- and multi-post views
    add_filter( ‘the_content’, array( $this, ‘event_content’ ), PHP_INT_MAX – 1 );
    return;
    }
    // Replace page content – make sure it happens at (almost) the very end of
    add_filter( ‘the_content’, array( $this, ‘append_content’ ), PHP_INT_MAX – 1 );
    }

    to this:

    if ( isset( $params[‘is_event’] ) ) {
    // Filter event post content, in single- and multi-post views
    add_filter( ‘the_content’, array( $this, ‘event_content’ ), PHP_INT_MAX + 1 );
    return;
    }
    // Replace page content – make sure it happens at (almost) the very end of
    add_filter( ‘the_content’, array( $this, ‘append_content’ ), PHP_INT_MAX + 1 );
    }
    `

    DEcreasing the priority of AI1EC the_content filter by INcreasing PHP_INT_MAX (HIGHER runs later, right?) fixes the problem without having to edit my WP-Views shortcode on every site/project. I suspect that your current code may cause issues with other plugins that may output loops on the event pages.

    Greetings Benjamin,

    Yes, I deactivated all plugins except AI1EC and WP-Types/Views and reverted to 2017 theme.

    Issue remains.

    AIEC plugin is injecting data into ALL loops on any single event page.

    It does not show up in the Views debugger as part of the returned query or post_objects, it shows up as Output (RAW) within the wpv-loops, and displays in the page as output.

    My cart and checkout pages have always been separate pages, and logging in used to work. But now the login on checkout page has stopped working. Clicking the login button redirects to the same checkout page but the user is not logged in.

    At this point, I’d be happy to just redirect the user to the login page.. but I’m not sure how to modify the checkout/form-login.php file to do this.

    Please advise.

    If you do add this (and I hope you do!), please consider making it a settable option, and not global.

    Yep, the subdirectory WAS included in the 404’d link.
    … and believe me, I was updating the permalinks constantly. =)

    I’ll let you know if this oddness resurfaces. Thanks for your time.

    Hmmm… after struggling with this for about a week, I just checked this morning, and it seems to be working. As far as I know, nothing was done over the weekend on the server to “fix” this… but it IS working now.

    Very strange indeed. I’ll let you know if this issue crops up again.

    btw… you wrote:

    The installation isn’t inside it’s own subdirectory by chance?

    Yes, I do ALL of my WordPress installations in their own subdirectories. As a developer, I consider this the correct way to install WP.

    Thread Starter Thorworx

    (@thorworx-1)

    Hi Kat,
    Thanx for your reply…

    Yes.. I’ve un/reinstalled several times..

    I’m a developer and use the plugin on MANY of my sites with no problems.
    This particular site is on a different server… but I’m not seeing any obvious differences in the hosting environments.

    Yes, it’s ONLY backupwordpress that is affected – as I said, I have no other plugins installed, and can access everything in admin, no problem.

    In fact, I had originally installed it on an existing WP site on this server (with several other plugins) and had this problem ONLY with backupwordpress, so I created an entirely new subdomain and database just to test this. Same thing.

    Turning on debug does not give me any information… no errors.

    As an experiment, I commented out the namespace line in backupwordpress/admin/page.php
    Doing so, I was able to get the settings page… and viewing page source, I could see most of the code loaded – before throwing a fatal error when outputting the html for the page.

    Very strange.
