By using webpagetest.org to test your https://www.jennyeleni.com site, it appears that the link to the REST API (link to api.w.org) needs 3 to 5 seconds.

I have the same problem on my site https://artemis-smb.fr.

I don’t know why this access is so slow !!!

It seems feasable to disable it : https://wp-mix.com/wordpress-disable-rest-api-header-links/
