Well some good news as of WordCamp 2008 – the 2.7 update is pretty big sounding as far as changes and new options. The new dashboard sounds really cool and I’m very excited for both the upcoming media changes and the mini social hubs. Oh, while this probably doesn’t help right now, there’s also the option of using SimpleScripts for all your wordpress management. They basically make it so you can install/upgrade/downgrade with one click. It’s pretty awesome – some hosts have this built in, but you might have to install it yourself.
