OK –

I uploaded Jetpack again and deactivated everything. I activated one feature at a time and viola, when I activated the Publicize feature the “More ReadMore Read…” popped back up. I deactivated it and it is gone.

That is the update – I’d love to have the Publicize feature activated so any help would be very, very much appreciated.

I switched to Twenty Fourteen and the text did indeed disappear.

Everything is working EXCEPT the Shanti Salon Logo.

I added the logo ‘shanti salon logo-2.jpg to my images folder using File Zila

Then added
.spa_tag span{ background: url(“../../images/shanti salon logo-2.png”) no-repeat scroll 0 0 transparent; }

to my Custom CSS – still the pink sign shows – what am I missing?

Hey thanks a lot!

All I needed to do was go to Menus under Appearances and click View All under “Pages” then Home showed and I simply added it to the menu.

I just got back from out of town and THANK YOU! both answers worked, though to avoid ending everything in !important I just changed the location of line 18 as you suggested.

It didn’t – I just closed everything and redid it all and the red border came up. But still nothing else.

Also, I am my own host and I have coded out any cacheing . . . Plus, the red border would not have worked either. Am I wrong on that?

I just tried that Body code again that you gave and it worked!! I have a red border now. However, none of the other code works.

They are not – the spa salon child is working though. I referenced the parent style sheet and it works. Just nothing I do in the actual child style.css or editor of the same file in the WP dashboard
