Thanks for your time and sorry for possibly wasting it. Whilst the problem does exist, I have several workarounds eg using the Text feature of PnPB to insert HTML of the desired icon into the desired spot. I just do not have the time to pursue it further. Sorry.

Seriously, you guys(‘n’gals?) provide incredible support!

BTW I have a ‘closed-by-PnPB’ thread a month or so back that is far more important and concerns PnPB not showing my theme’s Typography in the editor.

If you have a look at this thread you will see that the issue has been replicated by PnPB.

I’m wondering…
1. Can this post be opened again?
2. Any progress?

“I was able to replicate the problem you described and spoke to our developers about this.
We are currently working on some other issues related to fonts in the Visual editor and I hope that we will be able to address this problem along with the others in an upcoming patch release.”

Yes it does make sense in the context you outlined, for sure, but from the context of ‘early usage’…

Perhaps in the Left hand panel just call it ‘Offcanvas’ and have the menu and ‘canvas’ as separate sections.

I had no idea what that Offcanvas Menu meant.

Ok so that’s clear but I tell you what’s very confusing…perhaps future design changes?

Customizing > Header > Offcanvas Menu
AND
Customizing > Header > Offcanvas

So much simpler if combined into 1 longer scrollable…

When learning your layout it’s just about impossible to notice that “Menu” is missing or conversely appended.

Is this design a WP directive I wonder?

“type to choose a block” does not exist on the “Post and Page Builder” editor. All I can do is add media and blocks.
When I choose blocks there is no field to enter a search for shortcode and shortcode does not exist in the selectables.

So I added a new page, changed editor to WordPress Editor, and “type to choose a block” does exist and I can type /shortcode.

Is that a Blocksy editor? It seems to be the default.
