After several updates, I got following answer from Wallee on 30.9.24:

However, I still do not trust 100%, so we did not reactivate the plugin. If I were you, I would try to upgrade to the latest version. On our site, it works as far as I can see well (but note: We do not get payments at the moment!) with the follwoing configuration:

Wallee plugin V. 3.3.0
Woocommerce V. 9.3.3
The plugin Wallee has been tested up to WooCommerce 9.3.1 but you have installed the version 9.3.3

Wir m?chten uns für die Probleme mit dem Wallee WooCommerce Plugin entschuldigen.
Der technische Error wurde durch die Version 3.1.3, die ein ?Rollback“ zu einer ?lteren Pluginversion war, verursacht.
Diese Version hat bei einigen Kunden zu Abstürzen im Webshop geführt, wodurch Zahlungen nicht mehr entgegengenommen werden konnten. Unsere Entwicklung arbeitet mit Hochdruck an der L?sung.
Um weitere Probleme zu verhindern, werden wir heute alle Wallee 3.1.x Versionen von GitHub entfernen.
Wir geben unser Bestes, noch heute eine funktionierende Version bereitzustellen.

Wir entschuldigen uns nochmals für die Unannehmlichkeiten und danken Ihnen für Ihre Geduld. Wir werden alles daran setzen, dass solche Fehler in Zukunft vermieden werden.

We would like to apologize for the problems with the Wallee WooCommerce plugin.
The technical error was caused by version 3.1.3, which was a “rollback” to an older plugin version.
This version led to crashes in the webshop for some customers, which meant that payments could no longer be accepted. Our development team is working hard to find a solution.
To prevent further problems, we will remove all Wallee 3.1.x versions from GitHub today.
We will do our best to provide a working version today.

We apologize again for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience. We will do everything we can to avoid such errors in the future.

I did not try to roll-back, as I had severe Problems getting the page up and running again – So I just called the wallee support to check this problem. Fortunately I have 2 payment providers, so I could just switch over to the other…

Same here. I have an installation in a live system and a stage system: both showed fatal errors when updating.
– from wallee V 3.1.2,
– to wallee V3.1.3.

I deeinstalled wallee and tried to re-install the plugin again -> no change.

Needed to deactivate wallee with immediate effect.

called the support line today at 10:50 o’clock (UTC+2). They told me they will check the problem.
