I’m using the standalone player as part of an internal website and it’s been working great for over a year. However about the same time as the May IE7 update, the player stopped working in IE but still works fine in Firefox. Currently in IE7, it just says “Buffering…” all the time. Using fiddler, it looks like it doesn’t attempt to contact the server to get the mp3 file.
In IE7, the mp3 file can be directly accessed by entering the URL – it plays with the quicktime player with no problem. I’ve tested with the earlier version we’ve been using and the new version of the player (2.0b6), but get the same issue with both.
So, it looks like the browser can access the file, but it won’t play with the flash audio player. Does anybody have any suggestions?
