In reply to: [Simple Travel Map] Map appearing above all contentSorry Paddy, I missed your replies here and now I get a “This Account Has Been Suspended” message on your URL.

In reply to: [ImageInject] Suggestion: Next page optionRight now you can already get more results for a search term by simply repeating the search with the same word. Results will then be added to the current ones.
I agree though that a next button would be better and more intuitive. I will look into that for a future update!

In reply to: [ImageInject] Missing cc iconHi Donald,
I would be surprised if that is related to caching. Did you try just disabling all plugins temporarily? If not that might be worth a shot. As might be deleting and reinstalling WP Inject completely.
Unfortunately there is not much more advice I could think of. This is an odd issue and I have still not heard of anything similar.

In reply to: [ImageInject] Missing cc iconHi Donald,
that’s odd. The icon is still parsing fine for me and I dont see why it would stop suddenly.
Can you please try changing the attribution template to
<small>Image credit:{link}{author} {cc_icon} </small>
and see if that makes a difference?

In reply to: [ImageInject] Other Repositories (Feature Request)Thank you, I have seen that link and also had a list of possible services to integrate into WP Inject before that already. It will however be around 2-3 months until I can get around to look into adding more image sources due to a high workload.
I don’t accept or need donations but thank you for the offer! Feel free to donate to people in need instead or you could take a look at my commercial offerings, e.g. cmscommander.com.

In reply to: [ImageInject] pixabay error: No content could be found.Hi,
sorry for the slow response. Pixabay is working fine for me and others, so the most likely reason I could think of would be that the connection to their API gets blocked on your server. Security settings or a firewall could for example block certain outgoing connections.
Can you please go to the following URL (adjusted for your site) and see if results are shown there:
YOURSITE.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=wpdf-options&test=1
Also worth a try would be to disable all your other plugins temporarily just to make sure there is no conflict.

In reply to: [ImageInject] Flickr cURL error 60The Flickr error is most likely related to your server / hosting configuration. The Flickr API requires a SSL connection at all times and it seems something is missing on your server to establish that.
See the second answer here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3160909/how-do-i-deal-with-certificates-using-curl-while-trying-to-access-an-https-url
Which suggests: “This error is related to a missing package: ca-certificates. Install it.” Try asking your host to install this to your server.

In reply to: [ImageInject] More sourcesmorguefile looks good as they have an API I could use to add it. Have added it to my list of services to look into.

In reply to: [ImageInject] More flexibility in templatesMy main point was that the no-newline thing & tag’s single-use is limiting.. prevents doing anything like the above.
I agree and will see if I can improve that with the next update.
Hmm, might you be considering doing editable templates for the media’s properties; title, caption, alt text, description?
The title, alt text, etc can all be changed in the image template already or am I missunderstanding what you mean here.
I’ve a couple other thoughts/questions but suppose I should put in new posts, appropriately titled?
Feel free to put them in here.

In reply to: [ImageInject] More flexibility in templatesThanks for your comment. Just tested and you are right about those issues. I will look into that.
Not sure what you mean here though:
“My thought was to output all the available image info into an html comment block, or other html tags, for human legibility and copy/cut convenience.”
Could you expand on what exactly you want to do?
