In reply to: [WP Armour - Honeypot Anti Spam] A Few Enhancement RequestsYou’re welcome!
- Well, it happened both to the user and myself. The most recent time, the user tried it a couple of times and got locked out. Since it was a recent block, I could easily unblock it. I was able to post it for him without incident. Still, it would have been better if I could just push it back to the Comments queue and approve it.
- ??
- Definitely not good enough: I don’t want to delete them all, since they were put there for good reason. But I figure it’d be nice to delete old ones, and I don’t want to do that one by one.
- Yay!
- I don’t see how ANY honeypot field wouldn’t work, but I won’t ask you to reveal any “secret” methods.

In reply to: [Web Push Notifications - Webpushr] I don’t do business with spammersWell, I suppose I understand, Yui. So the only reason there is the function built in to the editor on these pages is to give moderators something to do by entrapping us users who are actually foolish enough to think it’s there to be used.
No reply necessary.

I wasn’t “promoting my website,” I was providing a link to the explanation of why I refused to remove my review here. It’s absolutely not fair to the company reviewed to not have that information available for context.

In reply to: [Web Push Notifications - Webpushr] I don’t do business with spammers12/22/20 Update: I want to say I appreciate that my simple review caused the company to IMMEDIATELY rethink their marketing and pledge to stop using spam. I give them great credit for doing that, and so quickly. They also asked me to retract this review. My answer to that as the author of the Internet Spam Primer is no, and I fully explain why in my blog at (link been removed by moderator as per forums guidelines)
Please don’t EVER do business with spammers, but I do believe Webpushr when they say they won’t do it again, as reinforced by their founder and CEO’s email, reproduced in my blog post.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Free Shipping Per Product] Where is Documentation? As usual, it’s a user error: I created the shipping class, but then didn’t assign to the shipping zone. I don’t see a way to make your directions more clear: we just need to follow them closely. Thanks for your quick reply!
Thanks for following up: that’s impressive.
Indeed I’ve tried it with each plugin update, and the last one was the charm: it did complete the setup finally! It still strikes me as pretty cumbersome to click permission after permission, but otoh I appreciate the privacy/security aspects of that. The information looks interesting, and nice to have it all in one place.
I will update my review.
Aghe, you need to sign up there first (free should be sufficient). Then get your API key and paste it in your MashShare settings, right below where you switch the method from MS to SC. It worked for me when I did it today.
Yep, me too. I’ll try the sharedcount.com method. If the FB API is limiting hits, then simply hit them less often. Hourly would be fine for me.
Thanks for anything you can do, Rene.
