PHP 5.5.19 (xampp)

I just updated my Mac OS and started xampp’s apache and tried again. The update worked. Seems it worked as soon as I loaded the plugin’s settings page.

I requested an immediate backup 5 minutes ago.
I turned on logging.
The log is empty.
Nothing has been uploaded to my DreamObjects bucket.

I upgraded to the latest version of wordpress. Getting the same errors.

I wanted to backup everything before I upgraded wordpress.

I’ll upgrade wordpress anyway and see if it works afterwards.

Sorry, it did not work perfectly after all.

I created a page in the system named News.
I created a template by duplicating the default template’s index.php and renaming it news.php
I added the comment <? //Template Name: NewsRoot ?> to news.php
I edited the News Page in the sytem.
The template “NewsRoot” is now available as an option.
I set the News Page to use the NewsRoot template.

Now when I go to mysite.com/news I no longer get the 404.
However, no blog posts show up within the main loop of the news.php template file. Any other markup in the file renders as expected but there’s nothing showing up within the main loop. Why might that be?

I bumped it specifically for when I was trying to get it to run.

The syslog erors show the script is actually wiping out PHP completely

Never got any explanation as to what’s happening.

Update:
I was suddenly able to visit the main page, post page, and category page without problems in firefox. When I clicked the header to get to the main page again it was a blank page again.

FYI visiting the site on 3 different laptops (2 wireless networks) and 1 desktop. I can access other sites fine (including other sites on the same server). I don’t think it’s a connection issue.

forget the margin auto, u changed something else, margin auto helps no more.

I only see 1 pixel of space difference on the left in IE.
Is that what you see?

I just made the width 751px margin:auto, now ther’s a tiny tiny difference in firfox, but its black right up againt he shadow, so not very noticeable. And in my IE it looks fine

oh, yeah, I forget I had IE. Lemme check.
btw, which version of IE are u using.
