I really wouldn’t edit that file. That is where you’ll find the core code, however your changes will be overwritten in a theme update. Minamaze is definitely 100% compatible with Codestyling Localization, many of our users translate using it.

Hi David,

That isn’t technically an error. The plugin will prevent any scripts that are not core WordPress from loading. You can still use the plugin. That script is a Minamaze specific script so won’t actually cause any issues.

If you create the translation files, then scan and then output the .mo and .po files you can then use the translated files. You’ll need to change the line wplang in your wp-config file also to match the language name.

Have you changed your wp-config file yet? Note, that this process is not theme specific so if you do get stuck you can just google for a translation tutorial and you should fine one.

The easiest way to translate Minamaze is to use the fantastic Codestyling Localization plugin. You can download the plugin for free right here from www.remarpro.com. Here’s a link to the plugin page:

Simply download the plugin and us it to create the relevant spanish language file. You may find the following YouTube video useful on learning how to use the Codestyling Localization plugin:

When you say featured image, do you want the entire image to be clickable? You can set a single image using the ThinkUpSlider which will give you the same effect as a featured image.

Let me know and I’ll be sure to help. If you do decide to edit header.php directly be sure to use a child theme. Otherwise any changes you make will be overwritten in a theme update.

Thanks so much for your wonderful feedback. ALL of the above can be changed in the upgrade version of Engrave. As you can clearly see you’ve linked to Enfold which is a premium theme on ThemeForest. Comparing a free theme on www.remarpro.com to a premium theme on ThemeForest is an unrealistic comparison! Are you seriously expecting these to be similar in nature? The premium version of Engrave is certainly in that league.

I’m assuming you’re new to www.remarpro.com themes and fail to understand the difference between free and premium themes.

In addition the text string that you’ve referred to can be translated just fine. It’s wrapped in the neccesary translation tag:

__( ‘Category Archives: %s’, ‘lan-thinkupthemes’ )

Where lan-thinkupthemes is the text domain.

The homepage featured sections are designed to only hold text at the moment. We can certainly look into added the ability for a video to be added.

Unfortunately in Engrave Lite the slider height is restricted to 500px. It is possible to change this by editing one of the core files, but I’d really recommend against doing this as it’s likely your changes might be overwritten in a theme update.
