I’ll look into compatibility issues for the next version (arriving next week), but as far as I know, that’s a Facebook API problem.

Odd that it doesn’t work in Firefox 3.x though…

Are you using IE 7 or below, by chance? I don’t think the comments load properly with older versions of IE.

Keep in mind that this is Facebook’s first release of the external commenting system, so if it’s not loading properly, it’s most likely due to their implementation of it. I’ve found several bugs that are on their side already.

In the next version of this plugin, I’m going to add a [facebook-comments] tag so you can insert it anywhere you choose. That may solve some problems.

Did you create a Facebook application and insert the proper application ID?

If you don’t use a valid ID, the plugin will still try to load the comments box but nothing will show because there’s nothing happening on the Facebook end.

Next version, I’ll make sure it checks that the application ID is valid.
