This a WordPress site only for logged in users that will manually be given their usernames to match their affiliate IDs in the affiliate program they belong to – I have the links to post on the marketing pages which are coded to credit their accounts with commissions – however I would like each user after logging in to see these links with their username (which will be in the format 1489820) instead of the XXXXX in the links posted on the marketing pages. In other words the links will be ready for them to copy and use, instead of them having to replace the XXXXX with their affiliate ID numbers manually.

“seems to work fine” isn’t very descriptive, doesn’t work at all on my computer. It creates a blank file with just names of authors and categories, no content. Was working fine until the upgrade. Tried different browsers, different parameters. Of course, maybe it works fine and I’m insane, and you have proved that because it works fine on your setup.

Would duplicating the style.css and renaming that print.css solve the problem and allow printing to occur properly? Or is there any need for the print.css file to be called?

Out of curiousity, why is a feature like text wrapping around images not in the beta version? I am not a developer, so I ask this question not as a critic, but as a perplexed user. Is the hack on the tutorial link unsafe? Should I be aware of hidden dangers in text wrapping around images? Are there compatibility problems with some browsers?

I will try and work through the tutorial, unless I find out I am stepping into a minefield.

By wrapping I mean placing an image in a post and then having the text wrap instead of appearing above and below.

I know, <hr /> – that’s right, nothing shows up.

yes, a horizontal line – solid, or whatever, I’m flexible. Would like to try different things. I can’t get the HTML <hr> tag to show.

1.5 beta – I want to remove even the references like “no comments” at or “comments closed” from the bottom of pages.

Well, I am not sure when it disappeared!

I got the same thing in IE6 on a mac, but when I relaunched the browser everything was OK.
