OK managed to complete the premigration review scan after deleting the dodgy events from the trash. Unfortunately when going through migrating the events, the plugin deactivated itself again and did not complete so had to cancel and restart the whole process…

…oh and the ecs-list-events limit shortcode no longer seems to work – it just displays the shortcode as text on the page…

i have fixed this now – it was my bad – had managed to hide the titles!

Actually I realised that I had hidden the screen reader text in css with :

.screen-reader-text {
  display: none;
}

I have removed this and now the link appears on first tab but it scrolls the page up so that the top part of the content div is hidden under the collapsed menu bar. Is there anyway to offset this so that content starts below the menu bar?

Yes that worked fine in the end – I had been trying to override css in the customize panel which I hadn’t realised was also in the child theme css page and it didn’t do anything!
Now working fine with the css you suggested.

what I’m trying to do is hide the multi-line recurring events section, as I want one line per entry…. Please ignore the misleading second post above – that was a bout a completely different problem with another plugin!

I have tried adding custom css:
th.sorting_disabled {
writing-mode: vertical-rl !important;
}
…so as to only affect this table header but it still doesn’t work. You can see it here https://www.schoolofmovementmedicine.com/who-we-are/new-trained-professionals-page/
the first table is manually constructed and the second is produced by your plugin (I have now moved to a full-width layout because of the problems with sidebar)

…actually I have solved this – a non-breaking space had snuck into the ecs-list-events shortcode before the ‘limit’ bit and had presumably rendered it unworkable. Just proves it is always worth checking in plain text. All fixed now ??

I am having the same problem – shortcode will only display 5 events even though limit is set higher – was there any fix found for this? I am using customizr theme

hi Uili… absolutely no response from anyone on this and I haven’t had the time or inclination to investigate further. Post here if you get any answers…

I have no idea Rocco – It seems to be working today but not to do with me! It was very intermittent so I don’t know if it will recur. What’s the modern style switch?

Just to say that I have just had the same problem with a different site on WP 4.7.3 – the confirmation email is not being sent.
I deactivated cimy user extra fields and users can now sign up. I did then narrow it down further. Since the email that doesn’t get sent is the second one – the confirmation email , I switched off the confirmation email and users are now able to signup.

So this problem has not gone away… I hope this might help the writer address it.
