In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Date – Time Zone Is OffWhat kind of access do you need for my server? What are you looking for and where? Can I just do it myself?
I’m fairly confident that you will have to view/edit the actually files of my WP installation to get a solution as I have exhausted all of the available options in wordpress.

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Date – Time Zone Is OffI have reinstalled it, and this is the most recent feed that populates:
CBDS,https://feeds.finance.yahoo.com/rss/2.0/headline?s=CBDS®ion=US&lang=en-US
it shows up in my items 2014-07-30 11:36:22
it should be 15:36:22Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Date – Time Zone Is Offwhen you say database, do you mean my sql database? No, if that is the case.
If you’re talking bout the feed list, then yes that has been re-entered every time I reinstall the plugin.Currently I use about 90 feeds, and most of those are aggregate feeds. None of them are updating as of now, and I believe this is related to a separate cron issue. However, when the cron does initiate, I still get the wrong times being pushed.

**Double edit** the timezone differential is 4 hours from me to UTC and also from the importer to me. In essence, is seems like the Importer is treating my time zone as UTC and then applying the time zone properties on top of it, therefore doubling the timezone difference from me to UTC. This would give the feeds an 8 hour difference from server UTC time, which in fact, is the case.

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Date – Time Zone Is OffI hate to be a stickler, but if you look at the majority of your negative reviews, they all seem to be pointing to the similar issue that Army and I are having. Ive noticed that since feeds come in at different times, the posts look like the do not populate. This is because new posts show up with past timestamps and will show up behind (in most cases by multiple hours and not visible on a recent post feed) less current posts with the correct timestamp.

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Date – Time Zone Is Offi use many feeds, and most of those feeds are aggregate feeds themselves.
I use the mass upload feature. Here are a few examples of the feeds. The same issues are experienced no matter where the feed is coming from.https://www.google.com/finance/company_news?q=OTCMKTS:AERO&ei=ee7RU5n0KobPrQGu_4HwCA&output=rss

In reply to: [WP RSS Multi Importer] Date – Time Zone Is OffHi Allen,
First of all, thanks for the excellent plugin!
I am running 3.0 Beta and I believe I am experiencing this same issue. I have uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled it with no progress. This includes previous, stable versions of the plugin.
What I have noticed is all of my ‘Shortcode Items’ come in with the wrong time zone. If I do not change the time-zone properties within the plugin, there are no alternating times- they are just all wrong. If I override time properties for the autopost, I get alternating time zones, only some Shortcode Items’ with the one with appropriate timezone (much like what Army has reported).
If I use the widget or just plain shortcode in a text box, the time zones never display correctly. There is no option, to my knowledge, to override date and time properties on ‘Shortcode Items’ directly.
I am wondering if this has anything to do with the cron management i am using. the problem became apparent once my feed stopped refreshing itself. Once I installed the Cron solution, the time zone seems to not display correctly. However, I am not positive that this is the case as I have mostly been working with templates and not really paying attention to the accuracy of real time feeds.
