The error email is triggered by the first visit to the Backup/Restore page, any future visits appear fine.
All sites on WordPress 6.2.2 with a variety of themes. PHP versions 8.1.20, 7.4.33 and 8.0.29

The sections are now showing the titles and placeholders in what looks like Chinese lettering: 百度

This situation was improved across multiple sites with the update to WordPress 6.1.1 but is still far slower than prior to the 6.1 update.

The client is on a dedicated server so the message is unnecessary for their situation. The code snippet worked perfectly.

Yeah, “aggressive anti bot block” sounds like a bit of showboating to me! They seldom tell you exactly what was going on.
The message is gone ?? all is well with my world again.
Thank you so much for all your help, sorry it ended up being such a headache and nothing to do with your plugin.
Do I need to restore the amended plugin files, or have you done that or are they OK left until the next update?

Support came back to me with:There was an aggressive anti-bot block in place for Apache, I’ve disabled that for now which should allow their checks to pass.
I still see the message in admin and have saved the plugin settings, is there something else we need to do? Do we also need to restore your modified plugin files?
