Yes. Using dropbox, then I copy the dropbox files to my local system. I updated UP and did another backup. Then checked the large file for integrity and it opened without error. It doesn’t explain why I was able to back up and restore another client’s site with a much larger Uploads file that apparently did copy to dropbox and complete without error. That backup was done last year (May 13, 2016). So somewhere in between then and March 22, 2017 (the date of the recent backup with the corrupt Uploads file), the UP code changed, or the way UP and dropbox communicate changed, or something… Needless to say, thinking I have solid backups of all my clients’ sites, and then discovering I don’t, means I’ve got to check the integrity of all of the backups on my clients’ sites by testing all the ZIP files to see if they are recognized as valid. It’s not hard to Open them without unzipping them, but it will take some time to locate and run this on about 40 websites.

I appreciate you getting back to me; I know your name is on this plugin and I thank you for answering my query, despite being a free customer at the moment.

After using Imagify on 2 websites and having it work really well (I posted a 5-Star review!) I installed it on a third website. When I started the Bulk Optimization, I got errors on every image it’s trying to optimize. The plugin worked on the first 2 sites I used it on. What could be the problem?

I thought that perhaps because I am using a CDN (Cloudflare) it might interfere with the process, so I set it to Development Mode (which turns is off for a few hours) and retried the bulk optimization. Still generating all errors.

https://ThetaSound.com is the site in question.

I also tried this from the Media Library page, List view. The first image optimized (though it took a long time). The second image got hung up in the Optimizing state and is still “spinning” after 10 minutes.

Note: My available percentage has dropped from 44% down to 35% with no results but errors.

Hopefully there’s a simple reason for this errant behavior.

    Thanks for your help…

Ravan, Thanks for your response. I found a savvy programmer in Canada who was able to modify my theme to accomplish what I wanted. Before that, I discovered that the fancybox “inside” title would be the way to go as the titles were wrapping just fine on the thumbnails. But ideally, I wanted the thumbnails to only have a few words and entice the visitor to click on the image to read the rest of the caption. This required some serious skills, which the programmer was able to do for me. I’m surprised that Elegant Themes does not offer more customizability with the plugin technology they use in their themes. Certainly choices such as outside or inside titles and title font size/line-height should be easier to access than ferreting out the et-ptemplates-frontend.js file and changing the title attribute! Of course, it took some clever coding to do the intro captions.

One little annoyance remains, though. Tool Tips pop up over each thumbnail with the same text as the short caption. This seems to be a problem with Firefox as Chrome ignores them. I haven’t tested it out in IE as I don’t really use that browser.
