In reply to: [WP QuickLaTeX] WP-QuickLaTeX stopped workingI switched host, everything is fine now. This plug-in is so good, it deserves to be widely known and used. I’ve donated and added an acknowledgment to my site.

In reply to: [WP QuickLaTeX] WP-QuickLaTeX stopped workingHad absolutely no help from my hosting company. They’ve just said to disable your plug-in to “fix” the problem. If you have any other suggestions I’d be happy to give them a try but I don’t know much about web stuff I’m afraid. If not, thanks anyway. This plug-in is so good (especially custom preambles and tikz support) I’d be more tempted to host elsewhere than use an inferior LaTeX plug-in.

In reply to: [WP QuickLaTeX] Connection errorI attempted to contact them last week and did not get a useful response, only to try things like changing the theme. Please let me know if you hear anything useful.
If you are with Bluehost @nnoveljic, this is a problem we have all been having recently.

In reply to: [WP QuickLaTeX] WP-QuickLaTeX stopped workingI have tried again and got this error message
*** Error message:
Cannot connect to QuickLaTeX server: cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 10001 milliseconds
Please make sure your server/PHP settings allow HTTP requests to external resources (“allow_url_fopen”, etc.)I’ve not changed anything at my end, perhaps I’ll talk to my hosting company.

In reply to: [WP QuickLaTeX] WP-QuickLaTeX stopped workingSorry for the delay, the notifications went to my spam folder. Disabling WP-QuickLaTeX immediately restores the website.
It’s not an issue simply with load times, the page simply doesn’t display. All I get is the title bar. Good to know that I’m not blocked though, I’ll keep poking around. Thanks,
Sam
