I’ve given up waiting for the developer and I now use this plugin:

It works with coinpayments.com and actually allows you to accept any crypto-currency, so bitcoin, litecoin, dogecoin etc.

The funds go to coinbase, which charge a small fee and I auto transfer them daily to my cryptsy account where all currencies are changed to BTC if I want to sell them.

Better solution really for me I think. Just thought I’d offer it up as an alternative for those waiting.

I have yet to hear back from him via Twitter, I don’t want to bug him too much. Looking at his updates he doesn’t maybe look at it that much.

As it’s a free plugin, I think we have to be realistic of our expectations, as I’m sure the dev has other things to do.

I’ve asked him just to give an idea of if he would plan an update, so we can decide whether seeking alternatives is a better option.

Exactly the same problem here. In the middle of building a site, installed Bitcoin payments and had a test, everything seem to work fine.

Did the auto update for WordPress 2.1 and was testing the site and noticed Bitcoin Payments just says “your cart is empty”.

Has anyone found a solution or alternative?
