  • I’ve been running into the same issue over the past few months and couldn’t figure out what was causing this either! I had been monitoring the inbound and outbound traffic from the site to see if I had some sort of shady plugin that was sending and receiving traffic in the background but couldn’t find anything. I turned the plugin off as well and seems to be working fine now. I hope YITH has a fix soon because I do love their plugins but cannot let my site continue to lock-up and crash due to this!

    Peter,

I’ve been wanting to accomplish something like this for some time. I found some TinyMCE type of plugins that allow you to add a HTML box above the Product Tag listing page — similar to your site. My question takes the styling of the Attribute Archive page to another level:

Can you add some sort of function to be able to sort products on the Attribute Page by the Product Category they are in? In the example of Peter’s Wine site, say there was both Wine and Cheese available for sale. If you had products from two different categories (Wine & Cheese) that shared an Attribute (in this case, the Region where it’s from), can you then sort by those same Categories (Wine & Cheese) on the Product Attribute Page?

My example is actually for a Auto Parts website I’m working on, and I want to be able to implement a sort of Make-Model look-up feature. For my example, there is Air Filters, Oil Filters, Tires, etc that would all fit a certain Vehicle Model ( Product Attribute). Ideally, a customer can visit that Product Attribute page to see all of the Products that share that attribute and “fit” his vehicle. Instead of a unsorted list, I’d rather have the ability to then shop/sort by the different Product Categories that have products w/ the said Attribute.

Any advice?! NOTE: I’ve been experimenting with using Product Tags to accomplish this but am running into the same problem.
