The extra padding only moves the numbers over for the items that aren’t wrapped around the image. For the item (item 1 at https://jonti.org/?p=109) that is next to the image, the padding-left won’t move it over because it is already moved over due to the image.

Wow, that solved my problem. I am grateful, Otto. I’m curious about what the purpose of the overflow:hidden thing is, but at least my site is working now.

I have put the IMG code on a seperate line. Now, however, the image is all by itself with not text next to it at all.

I’ll keep playing with it for a while.

I added the following to my style.css

.entry p {
clear: none;
}

I still have the problem…

changing the style sheet to get the lists to work correctly breaks other parts of the theme. Pretty lame.

I just tried this theme. I have to agree with the original poster that not having the list functionality is a deal breaker.
