In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Delays when non-admin userHello, thank you for your reply.
We did that, we also disabled all plugins and enabled them back one by one. We concluded that the delay (had to wait for minutes to even post an article) was noticed once another plugin was enabled, jetpack was not the main source of the delay.Thank you and sorry for the trouble!
Ok, thank you very much.
Kind regardsWordPress version: 4.5.3

I don’ t think it is the theme, as the problem did not arise the moment we used it…it must be some other plugin, we are looking into it (can cannot change the theme anyway, it is a project’ s requirement). Increasing memory is a solution for now…thanks!

In reply to: PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 734003200 bytes exhaustedBut I would like to know it, too…we changed it to 2048MB and only then did the error stop occuring…A plugin must be consuming all that memory but we need to find out which one..

In reply to: Too slow Image upload in WordPress Media Library as image number increasesHi,
WP Smush is a wordpress plugin, you should check your active plugins and see if WP Smush is among them. If it is, deactive it and see if you notice any difference.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: Too slow Image upload in WordPress Media Library as image number increasesTo anyone who faces the same issue, the problem was caused by WP Smush. Once we deactivated it, images were uploaded within seconds. We use nginx and gzip is doing the necessary compression anyway.
