This issue for me has been resolved regarding TML on my main login, “forgot password,” screen. The emails right now are simply delayed. Hopefully this is not an intermittent issue.

If someone could please close this ticket then open up a new ticket for this (per forum guidelines requested by the thread moderator) it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks everyone for your feedback and help!

I received a weird email as well (similar to RJT2015’s) this morning.

      Here’s what mine said:

If anyone could shed some light on this issue (or if it even is an issue) it would be greatly appreciated. All of my plugins are up to date and the only thing I did on my site recently was this morning (which was create a forum post).

I look forward to resolving this issue and speaking with you soon!

Thank you for your input I don’t use BlueHost I use GoDaddy for hosting. Unfortunately, your reply does not help me. I need Jeff (the creator of the plugin’s assistance).

Regarding the caching issue it is because WordPress has been releasing, “surprise,” core updates and has not been providing hosting providers with any time to test or debug anything. It has nothing to do with my site’s password recovery issue at all. Caching is the last thing they work on resolving over at GoDaddy when these, “surprise,” releases come out. I was getting cache issue alerts from my security plugin (with the last surprise update in December) then discussed it with them in great length (many times) and finally found out what the issue was which is that this is an issue between your hosting provider and WP. The hosting issue caused by the, “surprise,” WP core updates.

As an aside, GoDaddy does not assist their customers with plugin issues because they did not develop them. They do their best but since they don’t know the ins and outs of what the developer coded they direct you to WPMU forums and direct contact with the plugin author. GoDaddy also told me that the caching issue (which was temporary) has nothing to do with anything other than the, “surprise core releases from WP,” as that particular issue shouldn’t do anything other than impact performance (regarding speed and what not).

Thank you for your insight but we’re talking apples and oranges.

JEFF IF YOU COULD PLEASE HELP ME RESOLVE MY ISSUE, IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

    Thank you,

    ~ Kathryn

    Hi Jeff,

I don’t know. I believe I’m just using the basic TML stuff. I do have BuddyPress & Membership Pro 2 plugins (as I have a membership site) plugins on my site though. I used TML because I wanted a better login page.

Here’s what I have checked off:

    Stylesheet: Enable “theme-my-login.css”
    Modules: Enable Custom Redirection

The only other thing I have checked off is Username or E-mail Login Type.

Any assistance you could provide regarding my reset password information, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

I’ve been having a similar issue. If someone does attempt to reset their password it says that an email has been sent to them however, they never receive said email. I have a feeling that your password recovery issue has to be connected to mine in some way.

If you could please advise on how to resolve this issue, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank You!

I’m having the same issue. Got this message (Notice: Indirect modification of overloaded element of WP_Hook has no effect in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas07_data02/84/2485484/html/wp-content/object-cache.php on line 664) from WordFence this morning (same information 7x repeated in the email).

I called GoDaddy and according to them line 664 is related to caching. I was told that both my WP plugins & GoDaddy are trying to both flush my cache and that’s most likely the problem and causing a conflict but they don’t know. I sent them the email I got and I sent them this thread to look at. My entire site all day was a mess, all plugins stopped functioning and the entire site went down for no logical reason. After they told me that they didn’t know what was wrong they told me that I must’ve been hacked – this is right before their restore API went down today.

After having spoken to them pretty much I decided to wait it out then restore my site (as I think the issue is on their end not mine – due to me only having really messed up site issues since their purchase of Managed WP and they’ve had plugin integration issues in particular).

I just restored my site a little while ago to get it back up and running and in WordFence I have this message showing in detailed activity: Notice: Indirect modification of overloaded element of WP_Hook has no effect in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas07_data02/84/2485484/html/wp-content/object-cache.php on line 664

In “New Issues” I’ve Got The Following Showing:

WordPress core file modified: wp-includes/load.php (CRITICAL)
Unknown file in WordPress core: wp-includes/theme-compat/comments-popup.php (WARNING)
Unknown file in WordPress core: wp-includes/js/tinymce/wp-mce-help.php (WARNING)
Unknown file in WordPress core: wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/wpfullscreen/plugin.min.js (WARNING)
Unknown file in WordPress core: wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/wpfullscreen/plugin.js (WARNING)
Unknown file in WordPress core: wp-admin/js/wp-fullscreen.min.js (WARNING)
Unknown file in WordPress core: wp-admin/js/wp-fullscreen.js (WARNING)

At this point I feel like this is all a GoDaddy issue but I don’t know. I just need whatever’s going on to stop and need to know how to fix and prevent it as my entire site got ripped apart and rendered useless today.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank You,

    ~ Kathryn

I just realized that I’m actually using WordPress 4.5- not the earlier version I previously stated.

    Hello,

I am actually having the same issue. I was able to actually create one course and for whatever reason I can’t create anymore. I named it, wrote a description, added an image, assigned it a category, & assigned it an author. I also used variations of authors and categories and images etc.. to see if that would change anything. I am using the Membership Pro 2 Plugin and am not sure if that is causing the conflict or not but seeing as how I was able to add one course but no others I don’t see how that could be the issue. If you could please help me figure this out it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Kate
