Well, removed the plug-in using my ftp program and downloaded the previous version (13.0.1) and seems to be working. So anyone who has access to the files via ftp, just delete the wp-statistics folder.

Edit: Nevermind, got an error once I went back to the Dashboard. So strange because until I clicked out of the statistics page, my site was working fine.

Edit 2: Seems like the last stable one was 12.6.13, installed it and seems to be working (so far).

Yep, got a database error as well. Since I’m the admin, I just needed to delete the wp_statistics folder but really hope there’s a fix.

Ok. Unfortunately the Distraction Free mode doesn’t work for me as I have a smaller monitor so the space allowed is limited (it only removes the two side bars and that’s it, the part to edit a page or post remains the same).

It’s not the distraction free one, it’s when in fullscreen mode.

Here are a few screen caps. The first is what I see when “Visual” is selected:

The next is when “Text” is selected. Note that the option to go to Fullscreen is gone:

And the last is the options while in fullscreen mode (again, only available while “Visual” tab is selected):

In the previous version, I was able to select “Text” while in Fullscreen.

Sorry esmi, how does that plugin apply?

I use underlining to highlight words, so I’ll still be using it. I’ve had my site for 10+ years and it’s been effective for me. Thanks for the advice anyway.

Urgh…. I used the padding heavily. I have some posts with 15 pictures on them and they all use the padding.

Might work for you. Still need the option to change-out an image link (that’s already on the page, currently have to delete the image and re-insert) for those who use templates (like myself), but this solves one problem of padding and borders at least.

Not perfect, but works, there’s a plug-in that allows you to adjust an image’s margin and border.

I was told that the image properties will be returning in the form of a plugin either today or within the next few days for those that edit images this way.

Agreed. That and the width and height boxes. Right now it’s only available for those uploaded to the media gallery but is absent if you host an image outside of that (i.e. on Imgur).

What I’d like to know is how was it removed in between 3.8 and 3.9 and who thought it was a good idea? I understand things change in beta but I thought this would be the last thing to be removed.

Anyone with WP know if this will be added back in a future update?

AFAIK, the only thing you can do until it’s fixed (I think they know about it based on another thread so hopefully it’s being worked on) is add it manually via the test tab in the post or page.

Or perhaps it’s in another place? Maybe somebody who’s worked on 3.9 more extensively would know.
