Ok, it’s definitely the file. I’ve cropped it a tiny bit, saved it again and it worked: Attachment page, file.

Maybe it’s a bug in WordPress? I’ll let the buggy file up, just in case anybody wants to try to reproduce it.

I didn’t test it with my theme, but it is very unlikely that it is the problem.

I’ve just uploaded another image. That worked fine. Then I’ve uploaded the problematic image with another name – didn’t work.

Can I switch themes for only one page and only for me or do I have to download my blog and test it locally?

Is it possibly a problem that I resized the images?

It might also be interesting, that this error does not occur for all posts. I have one post where it does occur every time I edit it. But when I create a new post, the buttons are there.

It seems to be Opt-In, so its ok for me.

I recently also had that problem. Do you already have a fix?

@mark: I’m not quite sure if you closed the plugin because of my post. I hope not. I think it is clear for every WordPress owner that sociable can only work like this if the code from Google+/Facebook is loaded. And I guess many other WP-Plugins do it like this.

To make one thing clear: I wanted the site visitor to be asked if a piece of code of Google+ / Facebook should be loaded, not the site owner.
