In reply to: [WP Search with Algolia] autocomplete not working, instant search not workingI purchased the pro plugin. I think there should be individual checkmarks for price and SKU.
I would like to display only the price (without the SKU) in the autocomplete list. Still, I would like the SKU indexed (for search purpose).

In reply to: [WP Search with Algolia] autocomplete not working, instant search not workingThat sounds like a great list but for woocommerce I think “add to cart” links are mandatory for a majority of shops.
Another question: It looks like the sort option(i.e. by popularity or by price) is not working. Is it working on the Pro addon?

Does the Pro addon provide an out of the box instant search solution for WooCommerce? I mean, do the products displayed have “add to cart” buttons and the price displayed?

In reply to: [WP Search with Algolia] autocomplete not working, instant search not workingI’ve disabled the instantsearch because it is totally broken. Now it’s using the native theme with algolia in background.
Basically if I want to use instantsearch I have to somehow modify the plugin myself and rebuild the whole page from scratch adding functionality such displaying the price, variations and Add to cart buttons/ajax functionality. I was hoping that the plugin will take advantage of the theme layout and functionality, not just throw search results from algolia on a clean canvas. Ideally it should use the native theme layout but process it instantly (i.e. on the frontend).
Correct me if I’m wrong.
Even so if I were to implement instantsearch I think it would better to use the current autocomplete box but like a fullscreen overlay so that the user doesn’t have to enter a first query and then enter and then search again “within the instant search box” in order to take advantage of instantsearch. Again the fact that the plugin doesn’t provide the item price and Add to cart links out of the box makes the use for ecommerce pointless.

In reply to: [WP Search with Algolia] autocomplete not working, instant search not workingIt seems that the “offloading” plugin didn’t work properly so I had to disable it in order to make assets load.
Now instantsearch libraries are loading and autocomplete works as well. The only major issue is that the suggestions list are disappearing if the search box is not in focus. This is an annoying behaviour on mobile because the client may loose focus easily (i.e. press done) and the suggestions list disappears as well.
Another issues is that I expected to get a list of “did you mean x, y z?” suggestion on typos or anything like that.

Be aware that css, javascript and fonts is not working even with the paid version. I think they have other “plans”/packages/metals upgrades if you want css/js upload. Total ripoff. Stay away & stay safe
@dbisupport I’ve paid $40 and it still doesn’t offload the CSS. How much does it cost to offload css? Why is it all so shady? It seems that you have no “pro” version but instead of bunch of metal packages (bronze, gold and whatever). I guess I’ve got the shit package because it doesn’t offload js,css or fonts. I recommend to change the naming of your packages to shitty package, half shit and standard. That way clients can figure out what they are buying.
By the way you forgot to answer to my queries. I guess the support comes with the plan name.
