The “the_content” function isn’t being used on the one-page template as there are multiple content locations. This is unique because it is a one-page template where a lot of content resides.

If you look at the template_home.php file you will see that it is used to control the other sections included in the theme.

You can add whatever text you desire by editing the footer.php file. It does not allow widgets but you can place the link code directly inside the file.

Can you clarify what you mean? I have looked at the source code for Integral and I do not see large amounts of white space.

To state that it takes up “a huge portion” is inaccurate.

Many theme & plugin developers display some sort of dashboard notice upon successful activation of their theme/plugin. It is designed to inform the users or any actions they must do upon activation and sometimes to also offer an upgrade.

These notices are also usually dismissable.

We are more than open to constructive criticism, but to give us a 2 star rating simply because you don’t like the ads on a free product, I find unfortunate.

I you have constructive criticism which will help improve the theme, I am open to hear it.

If you benefit from a free product, that someone put time and effort into, then yes you can expect ads to offer “Buy Pro”.
