DarkLooks have a custom CSS adding option. You can write custom CSS based on your needs to change your specific page element to your desired color.

If you want to write CSS for dark mode then start with this selector html.darklooks-mode-changer-enabled to add or remove styles for dark mode.

When you use automatically OS setting then it will work based on the device’s OS mode. It’s a feature, not a bug and there is no way to force the status is based on the user’s choice when you use automatically the OS setting.
