I removed a user from the default users, no problem.
I removed the user via UM, profile/ Delete this user and also no problem

Have a look at Ultimate member > User roles
Scroll down, you will see Registration Options

When you’re not seeing the UM features as an administrator, it means your admin user role has limitations. But It can be that easy as just saving the user role. Ultimate member > User Roles. If that not worked out, check if maybe an other plugin is also using user roles.

Check the pre-defined fields on your form, make sure admin has access.

Also have a look at your ssl, and make sure all your images are https instead of http. You have some issues with loading google fonts (firefox/consule) makes your site also loads a bit faster.

Hi Arno, I has the same issue. You can find the redirect after login etc via:

ultimate member/user roles

Your profile is looking a little empty. Why not add some information!

This means you have not entered any info yet on that profile, create first (add fields) to your profile form and then open your profile (front) and add your info.

You say it yourself, I am only entitled to free “support” until I am a paying customer. At this moment you can see that UM is working hard to fix issues that have appeared by the new update. It’s understandable that reply’s will take longer. But believe me they will fix all and we all can enjoy Ultimate member again.

Well I think your backup went wrong. Because when you did a full restore from an older backup, the new update should not cause an issue. Simply because the new update files are not there. My best advice check your hosting panel and try to do a full restore to an older version.

Be a little patient, I know it can be a pain right now. But Um is working hard as we speak to fix issues. And you can always use the old version for now.

I hope you will consider to put the styling options back. I understand you’re notes about more lightweight. But for us this is a nightmare!!!!

I think it’s a major step backward and most important absolutely not user friendly. More time needed and frustration for a lot of newbies that wants to design their community.
