That sounds like a browser cache issue, clear your cache.

You just have to update the user roles and your form.

UM 2.0+ is using the default WordPress user roles, before it was using his own community roles. So have a look at Ultimate Member / User roles and you will see your two user roles. Open them and adjust if you like and hit save.

Registration form:
Select Yes at Customize this form
Assign role to form
Select the user role your’s members get on registration
Hit save

And all should work again.

You need to tweak the css, use Firebug for example.
