HI AITPro. Yes that did eventually work, I also discovered that my hosting provider was blocking my IP Address for some reason, that was half of the issue. Thanks for your help.

thanks for your help @aitpro. I have a second wordpress installation installed at https://stlukeumc.org/st-luke-2020/ and am using it to create a new version of the website (Staging). I keep getting blocked from it by BPS so I was thinking I’d edit the .htaccess. No i have not edited the .htaccess to my knoweldge. I’ll check out your troubleshooting steps.

Yeah you’re right, they are. It’s possible! WP Mail SMTP and Simple Events are suddenly not working together.

It is Chrome. I am not near the client, as they are many hours away and they insist that this is happening even though I cannot recreate it on any computer or browser. They said they put in their email and it says “waiting”. And it in Chrome. I suggested he update Chrome. We’ll see what happens

Yes, i was wondering the same thing. Is this feature in the update but i am just missing it?

Oh ok, thank goodness! All my clients are requesting it as I use your plugin exclusively for popups.

This is what they said. “I found that some WordPress related files missing caused the issue. I’ve manually updated the WordPress to correct the issue. If you face this type of issue in the future feel free to contact us. We are happy to assist you.”

No idea what that was…I did a fresh reinstall of wordpress like three times.

Wow, i just got a message from my host and they just said “fixed it, check now” no idea what they did. Ill ask and post back here.

Yes, tried your experiment and that did in fact work. So PHP is on, but the issue persists.

Contacting host again

I disabled them by breaking them via FTP by renaming them.

I have contacted the host and they said they have no idea what the issue is.

Anybody have any help?

I am having the exact same problem in the same situation and would love some help.
