In reply to: Page changes don’t showOkay, so after you make the changes, are you publishing it and then not seeing your changes? You should have an update button to click and then it would be live.
It’s not in Draft Status, or set to Private is it?

In reply to: Plugin will not delete with left mouse clickIf you deleted the plugin folder on the server via ftp before you deleted the plugin via the WordPress Admin then that is likely the cause of the problem as you did not remove it from the Database.
I would suggest putting the plugin back on the server and then removing it through the Admin interface if that is the case.

In reply to: Best slideshow plugin that refreshes pageI would suggest researching topics like ‘slideshow plugins for wordpress’ or ‘best slideshow plugins for wordpress’ then connecting with a Developer to customize it to your needs.
I have never seen a slideshow plugin that does what you are asking.

In reply to: Help with htaccess file and/or wp-config fileIf when you installed WordPress, you put the top level folder ‘wordpress’ directly into the quietlion.com.au directory, then that is where your wordpress install is going to be located.
You have two easy options.
1) Setup a redirect on the quietlion.com.au root directory to point to the wordpress sub directory
or
2) Reinstall WordPress into the root directory from below the wordpress folder. So you install everything inside the ‘wordpress’ folder when you download wordpress, the three sub folders and all the pages, directly into the quietlion.com.au root directory, and start over

In reply to: Page changes don’t showWhere are you seeing the page display correctly?
How are you making the changes to the page?
This is a PHP error. It is a server side error and from the error message you can see that it is specific to the plugin.
If you deactivate the plugin, and the wordpress install starts working, then it is the plugin that is the problem, and you would have to contact the makers of the plugin for a fix.
