In reply to: [Slideshow] slideshow cosmetic issues via mobileAnd if you can’t figure out the aspect ratio for your slideshow, use this calculator. You’ll have to determine the height and width of your image slides first however.

In reply to: [Slideshow] slideshow cosmetic issues via mobileWhat you’ll want to do is add the following into your responsive stylesheet…
.responsive .slideshow_container {
display: flex;
margin-bottom: -100%;
}Then head into the slideshow’s settings and hit ‘yes’ on “Shrink slideshow’s height when width shrinks” (The default is ‘no’).
Tinker with the aspect ratio above the ‘image behavior’ field. I’ve got a squareish slideshow running on one of my sites, so 5:4 works best in this particular case.

This slideshow does not properly display in Google Chrome.
What is the work around? Anyone else with the same problem?
I am surprised that no one else has picked this up.

In reply to: Quick fix: How to change menu 'hover over' color?And the statement above my friends is why the Internet won’t bind the world and help to mend the flaws of this grotesquely barbaric species. We are doomed.

In reply to: CSS to remove plugin from pages only?I have to apologize, I’m only ‘sub medium’ when it comes to web design. I’m just not sure I understand your suggestion.
I contacted the author and even hammered away in the support forum- no luck…
There has to be some easy way to make a plugin “vanish” from pages.
Do I remove some php code?
I’ve tried everything, even switching to v2 only.
Now c’mon, I know someone has the solution to this and they’re just floating by ignoring…
I’ll give whoever can help me a cookie. I’m serious.
Im sure I have to remove something from the plugin itself. Could someone possibly be of some assistance? It would be the first time I actually received help from a forum!
Yeah, this really needs to be resolved– like yesterday.
I even tried fidgeting with the number of posts to show up. But nothing has worked thus far.

In reply to: Really Confused. How Do I Make a Static Front Page???My friend, thanks for the reply. Only, this is the part that confused me!
“Set the “Home” template to the default template or any custom template. Title your template as something other than home.php as this could cause a conflict.”
Call me a novice even though I’ve been using WP for quite some time, but how in the heck do I complete this above step? Where do I go in my dashboard to make this happen?
[No bumping, thank you.]
