Sorry – My mistake i musn’t have had the config right. after re-checkiong i have sorted it now. I do have another question though.

When a user creates a ticket using the plugin page (new ticket) they do not receive a confirmation email. This option is ticked in osticket admin interface. Any ideas? replies using the wordpress dashboard is working just not the new ticket confirmation.

I have not got SMTP enabled in the plugin settings as i understood it wasn’t required.

Just on the email topic. I closed a test ticket (still setting up my site) and the reply email was strange – it came from root user (root@localhost).. Is there a way to fix this? the settings in osticket appear to be correct with my from email name being: The Friendly Geek – Helpdesk…
