I’m happy for this to be marked “resolved” ??Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Customizr] make feature page image a clickable phone numberyour quote from earlier :
“But this changes also the button link which I presume you still want linked to the page, right?”
i misunderstood/misread , yes , indeed, i want the “button link” to the page !

In reply to: [Customizr] make feature page image a clickable phone numbermy preference would be for the “read more” button to link to the relavent page rather than make a phone call, regardless of what the viewer was using, mobile or desktop.
it was just the image that i wanted to be “click to call”Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Customizr] make feature page image a clickable phone numberthe link on the image on the home page now calls the number , however the ” read more” button also rings the number as well!!
time to figure out how to change the text for that individual button!Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Customizr] make feature page image a clickable phone numberI somewhat over complicated it…. still really new to coding ?? but have it right now.
this has been a good learning experience, thanks to your input!
I’m really happy with the outcome!Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Customizr] make feature page image a clickable phone numberok thanks, way more to learn!
thats secondary at the moment because I’m still challenged by the coding to create a link which makes it a “clickable call” ??Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Customizr] make feature page image a clickable phone numberso far so good, i’ve put in a “dummy” link for the image and its working fine.
however the “new” link is operational on both ipad and iphone.is it possible to make the above code specific to just phone sizes?
btw your help has been awesome!!Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Customizr] make feature page image a clickable phone numberI looked and looked and couldnt find that page! thanks!
It looks like it should work… but my newness to coding in general may make it problematic!
to be honest, I’d prefer the link to be to the telephone number rather than the page(especially when viewed from a mobile device)
but on desktop the link going to the page would be ideal.
about to give it a try now
cheers

In reply to: [Customizr] how to make a transparent footerHi D4z!
yes, that worked!
I put #77675a there to try to merge/match with the color of the bottom of the image rather than the transparency effect, as I had the code wrong.
yes, webdev, not much to see at the bottom of the image hence why I didnt want to get too stuck on the solution.
Thank you both for your help, it is much appreciated.

In reply to: [Customizr] change background of featured pages on home pagegeneral consensus suggests the cleaner look & losing the effect is the way to go. though of the people I asked, the majority said “can you change the shape back to round rather than square”……

In reply to: [Customizr] change background of featured pages on home pageThanks for the quick response!
I’ts not exactly how I would have liked it but certainly better than how it was.
I think I can see now how the expanding effect works and makes it impossible to have it and the transparent background.
time to make decisions on which is more important, the cleaner look or the expanding effect.
Cheers
