Yep, I had this and other errors and a WSOD with the last update. It’s history on the sites I had it installed.

To fix this I edited the permalink settings to a custom structure:

/%post_id%/%post_name%/

This now validates XHTML 1.0 Strict.

Those links pointed me in the right direction and it was all in the functions.php.

Now back to my stylesheets, PHP not being a strongpoint!
