Thank you very much for getting back to me and always being so helpful! I wasn’t able to source the problem as it seemed to be a conflict of multiple plugins. I deactivated all and did conflict test in staging site. Upon completing this I was able to fix problem but upon activating woocommerce payments/ stripe woocommerce gateway and jetpack all seemed to cause the problem to occur and product descriptions revert back to default. However I simply imported the products csv from woocommerce for all of my products from the staging site where I had done the conflict testing and saved it BEFORE activating anything, thus the product descriptions were still the custom ones. Well I activated everything and it all went back to the default descriptions, to solve this I simply uploaded the Csv file from the correct product descriptions and added it to fix the default descriptions. Hope this makes sense to anybody reading it and having a similar problem in the future.
NOTE: IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ALIEXPRESS PLUGIN HOWEVER THE SUPPORT WAS FANTASTIC AS ALWAYS!
Thanks guys. Hope this can help somebody in the future.- This reply was modified 3 years, 10 months ago by thedailytheorist.
Thank you so much for the reply and help first and foremost. I tried clearing the browser cache as well as the product cache, even trying a different web browser, all with no luck. However, I soon realized after going through the process of checking for conflicts like you recommended discovered it was a conflict with the woocommerce stripe gateway as I already had woocommerce payments active. thanks again for the help.

In reply to: [Members - Membership & User Role Editor Plugin] NoJetpack permissionsOk thank you so much for the help! It is really appreciated, I now have another question so I will start a new thread.
The way it happened on my site is I hired somebody to write some custom product descriptions for me. All was fine and everything appeared to work fine. When I deleted his user and assigned all work to my user though, the products now are back to default in product editor, but when I click the “preview” on the products it displays the custom product description but when I go to edit it myself it appears as the default description from AliExpress if that makes sense?

In reply to: [Members - Membership & User Role Editor Plugin] NoJetpack permissionsThank you for your reply, and I hope I didn’t seem rude. So just to clarify, the capabilities are there I just need to find out which capability controls the Jetpack plugin side? If this is the case, I would consider this problem solved. Thank you again for your time and the helpful response!

In reply to: [Members - Membership & User Role Editor Plugin] NoJetpack permissionsCan I get an answer as to if this is just on my end or do you guys not support the Jetpack plugin?
Sorry for the late reply, I believe it’s an issue with the theme as you mentioned. Thanks for the quick and helpful reply, greatly appreciated. Awesome plugin by the way.
Ok I will do that as soon as possible and get back to you. Thank you for the response.
Will do, thanks.
Thanks for the fast reply! I really appreciate it, I believe the problem may have to do with Woocommerce Stripe gateway, and not with your plugin. I disabled the woocommerce stripe gateway, and all worked fine. With it activated it seems to get stuck on loading. I wrote woocommerce. Thanks for the quick reply, I appreciate you being so helpful. Also I love the plugin, it’s extremely useful!
Thanks.
