In reply to: [Code Snippets] PHP Warning: Unterminated comment…Yep, found an unterminated comment at the end of one of our snippets that went undetected because the snippet still worked in spite of it.
Sincere thanks for your prompt reply!

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Purge All – Gravatar Cache (not fully working)@qtwrk, thanks for your reply.
It looks like a Browser Cache issue…
Because as mentioned, when we delete the site specific ‘Website Data’, in the ‘Advanced’ settings for Safari in our iPhones, we then see the new avatar when we refresh the page(s).
But why does everything else in the browser(s) purge to show new images, updates to styling, etc. when the ‘Purge All’ options are employed, but the avatars do not—are avatars considered “static” content?
Our Browser Cache TTL is set to 365 days, but is there a way to make sure our visitors are not seeing old/stale content because their respective browser cache is holding on to it?
This may seem like a silly question, but is there a purge option for the Browser Cache so that we don’t have to wait a year for the avatar to change?

In reply to: [Specify Missing Image Dimensions] Questions/Clarification Needed…Thank you for your prompt reply.
To clarify further, what do you mean by “run time”—do you mean when or if an image is uploaded?
In other words, what “triggers” or causes the plugin to “scan the entire page” for “images with missing width and height attributes”?
Is the plugin “scanning” all the time, in the background, using server resources?
You addressed a “server resources” concern in another thread saying, “This plugin didn’t take much of the server resources.”
Please be specific as to when the plugin runs.
It seems like it would be a waste of server resources if the plugin was running all the time, constantly scanning for image attributes, especially when the missing attributes have already been added previously by the plugin itself.

In reply to: [WP Cerber Security, Anti-spam & Malware Scan] PHP Fatal error…Why haven’t you upgraded the plugin?
Please forgive, I thought that was clear in the first comment.
You need to enable a PHP mbstring extension…
Guess we needed to work a little harder for that kind of support.

In reply to: [WP Cerber Security, Anti-spam & Malware Scan] PHP Fatal error…Gioni,
Would it be too much to ask for you to reply to this thread with the solution?
Perhaps it wasn’t intentional, but your response seems a little condescending.
We found no warning messages on any of the admin pages. The only message we’ve received, repeating itself over and over again, is the message that an upgrade is available.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Custom CSS IgnoredOf course, that would help, wouldn’t it…
But actually, we figured out the problem, and it had more to do with the way we were using our custom styles file.
Thanks for your prompt reply—at least we know you’re here for us when we need you! ??
Esmi,
With all due respect, doesn’t it make more sense to allow users who have the same problem to post under the same topic?
@fania12 and @andymerrett are having the same problem with the plugin that I am. I think it helps the plugin developer know that there’s clearly an issue with the plugin, rather than it being just a one user anomaly.
